KADVR6 0 Posted January 20, 2007 i have my freshly trimmed recaro's sat in the garage,(dark grey) have a rear bench coming on monday (light grey) and black door cards, all bought for a very very good price, especially as the fronts are brand new. so gonna get one of these leather colouring kits http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/index.htm but cant decide on what colour to do my seats in :? i have narrowed it down to. biscuit, burnt orange, doe grey, blood red, my corrado is moonlight blue, so what colour leather would you think is best? please click on the pics for the correct shade, as for some reason the shades look different when i have posted the pics :? karl
CorradoVR6-Turbo 0 Posted January 20, 2007 I think the doe grey will go well with midnight blue, how difficult is it to dye the leather?
KADVR6 0 Posted January 20, 2007 well from what i have been told by the company, its very easy to do. and the colouring will last between 7 to 10 years, depending on how much you use the car, the full kit is £80 delivered. and it should be done in 2 days easily. karl

RADO.001 0 Posted January 21, 2007 if ur rado was black id say "blood red" hands down, very M3, alfa GTA. but i think the "Doe grey" will probably go best in ur C mate.

ben16v 0 Posted January 22, 2007 red mate be different!! will different colour leather dye the same if you know what i mean, what you gonna do about the rest of your interior? plastics etc... if only i could turn my cloth into leather...
KADVR6 0 Posted January 22, 2007 i have been informed by the leather company, that is will dye black/light grey 100% the same colour, you may have a problem say with black and white, it also depends on what colour your going to dye. i still cant decide though what colour to go for, :? i will be doing the doorcards, and will be doing the gearstick gaitor the same colour. but will be keeping the black plastics black, i think that will break it up nicely. so anybody else fancy saying what colour they think. karl
Torsten 0 Posted January 27, 2007 i would go for blood red be different as ben16v said before above. just to give you an idea: i know the colors are a lil different (car is aquablue) but you can imagine how it could be look here for more pics of the car, may be you know it already http://www.corrado-database.nl/index.ph ... do&id=2011
