New Alloys and Tyres Need some advice guys!!!

After folowing some seriously Phat Dubs Home from UD on Sunday, I think I'm gonna change my rims......

 

The ones I'm looking at I can get 9x16 rear and 7.5x16F or 7.5 F&R or 9 F&R!

 

ET is 20

 

Now a couple of Q's, Think 9x16's all round will look daft, quite liking the wide rear and narrow fronts........Anyone got any pics of this?????

 

Or the 7.5x16's all round????

 

Also what size tyres can I stretch over the rims??? don't want a real stretch, just nice 8)

 

Plus will 9x16's on the rear fit without arch mods????

I think you'd be disappointed with 7.5 all round if you want the 'phat' look, they're not that much wider than standard really. 9's all round would look great, although would probably need arch mods front and rear to avoid catching. I say get the arches flared and go for the 9's if you really want to go wide :)

I dont think you would need to flare the arches tbh, just rolling them would be enough with 9's all round. Deffo go for 9's mate they look the nuts and they hold the road superbly 8)

Getting the arches rolled shouldn't affect the paintwork at all if its done properly. If you put your hand under your arch and have a feel (oh er missus) you should find theres a 'lip' of metal inside. Thats what gets rolled (or more accurately folded) up out of the way.

I would prefer the bottom pic but with some 7.5 j's up front instead of the 9's (keeping the 9's on the back) Iv just brought a set of 7.5 j's all round, they are now at the paint shop being re-furbed! Dont suppose anyone wants to swap two 7.5 j's for two 9'js if you have the same thoughts as me, plus cash your way!????
