funboxvr6 0 Posted May 5, 2007 Hi All I've just investigated the cause of my passenger seat wobble. It seems that there is a plastic/rubber part missing at the seat travel adjustment assembly. This probably got lost when the seats where re-furb'd. According to EKTA online this is called a 'Stop buffer' part number 435881203A. Does anyone know if this is correct and if they are available and at what sort of cost? My local stealer's parts dept. is closed now until Tuesday. :x thanks in advance
stevef182 0 Posted May 5, 2007 hmm, not sure if it will be the same as havent had an issue on my corrado but both my mk2 and mk3 golfs had this problem and the part i replaced sounds like the same part your describing..is it a part that clips onto the bottom corner of the seat where it slides onto the runner??? white piece of plastic?? if so they are super cheap, and GSF sell them! bristolbaron 10 Posted May 5, 2007 i bought a few from gsf, however they are easy to break when fitting so grab a couple of spares! as steve said, theyre super cheap!
Supercharged 2 Posted May 5, 2007 Buy genuine ones - they don't break and will stay on the seat! They are also sided (to the seat ie inner and outer) so you need 2 of each... if you also clean the runners and regrease the seats will slide like new!
