fitting alu dial rings.....superglue nightmare

hi all, yesterday i tried fitting a set of aluminium dial rings.....they didn't seem to stay in place so i gave them a wee superglue :D

all seemed ok but when i looked today there was a white residue.....looks really messy....

could anyone advise on what might remove this????

you can get super glue remover .but its not going to be easy for you to do . what corrado is it ? a g60 or 16v ??

does it have dig readout of the milage ??? is the glue on the glass at all ??

yes trevor it does have the digi milage and yes it is on the glass

i got a cover you can have but its got a cracked glass . . . . you can fit the ring to this cover but you still have the problem of the glue on the glass ??

thanks mate but i'll see if i can get it off, i'm sure some chemical or other will work.i think if i took the rings off now it would look even worse.

Autoglym bug and tar remover does the job, i had the same problem.....

 

It is safe on the plastic and the glass...

No probs mate, just use it with kitchen roll and itll shift, takes a while but does the trick, small fingers will be usefull though...
