nervous breakdown!!!

 

Been there unfortunately...well...on the verge of a heart attack to be precise,through stress/other personal things :(

I am a bit of an obsessive compulsive persistant perfectionist...not a good thing tbh.

 

I just cant possibly travel a 600+? mile round trip to darren and then have the car left there..would cost a fortune,with possibly having to stay somewhere etc :(

 

I am really depressed by it all as you can probably tell...embarrassing really.

Have you phoned up and had a chat to Vince at Stealth? He may be able to suggest some things you've not done yet (even though you seem to have done just about everything looking at some of your previous posts) - and is usually fairly happy to impart some advice on the blower!

Thats the thing Jim,I really have tried everything.

 

I think...Ive only got the fuel pump to try (when it turns up) and thats it!

 

Ill try calm down with the posting anyway,but i do hope the fuel pump sorts it...and i would like to know why the fuel pump no longer 'runs on' as per one of my recent threads.

 

If (when) sommet else breaks...ill just hit it with a hammer :D

I can appreciate how it must be getting to you mate.. hence my multiple Corrado owning past. Notice how I came back every time too.. to be honest with the amount you've ploughed into your motor it'd be a tragedy to shift it once you'd got it sorted.

 

I'd try giving vince a ring.. he's definately the man for the VR's but isn't a mug when it comes to other Corrado engines! :)

 

And as Yan said about fuel pump run on.. it only does it in certain situations - i've never heard mine run on once the engine is off!

i'm sure daz would be more than help full mate,give him call he's always willing to help.the trip there would be more than worth it if he solves all your probs surely?

Just a case of money...But i think ill see what happens with the fuel pump,and then see about getting it to Darren.

tbh mate ,darrens really good,i've spoke to him a few times over the phone an he's always been glad to help,best thing u could do is to drop him a line mate an explain whats what an see what he suggests

i think if you want to keep it - you should store it for a few months and save for a trip to somewhere that can fix the problems - i'm guessing gwerks should. trust me its worth paying the extra thats needed to just get the car sorted out. i did that recently and love the g60 again.

did you ever get the fuel pressure checked correctly? it will be something simple and with the right equipment, id expect daz would have it fixed in 1hr max so wont cost alot.

I travelled all the way to stealth from the Isle of Wight which costs £50 return on the ferry before you even get to the manland but it was well worth the travel, the drive on the way home was amazing once vince had fixed my engine 8)

Do you have AA/Rac.. We have had car delivered to us from alot further away than you Mate. Whilst the owners just await our phone call to tell them its finished. :) I dont see to much stress there... Just sit back watch some porn and await our phone call.. *just a thought :D *
