jonny-5 0 Posted July 22, 2007 I went for silvery grey myself - like you see on new cars, looks quite smart. Haven't got a pic tho
Torsten 0 Posted July 22, 2007 yes, also my thoughts about red, makes the car a lil chavvy .... (as well as blue) today i went to the Audi dealer and took a look at the new S5 and R8. They all got black (glossy) painted brake caliper. all the other Audi
Guest Posted July 22, 2007 I went for red, as I'm chavvy 8)
Toad 0 Posted July 22, 2007 I went for silver, of the hammerite variety.. Really like them. Don't have a picture though as the forum photo thing is broken.

corrado vr6 0 Posted July 23, 2007 i went for yellow hammerite on a red C chavvy!! but i would go for red or black on a green C :D
Rhodri 0 Posted July 23, 2007 I went for red, I think it stands out a bit more than any of the other colours mentioned.
VR6 South 0 Posted July 23, 2007 I opted for silver hammerite spray in the smooth finish to keep the OE look. I've just got to get round to getting them fitted.

JayGT 0 Posted July 23, 2007 I went for red on my 288's 01072007207.jpg[/attachment:a66de] guess that makes me a chav :? . Goldie on here has done the same on his Green Storm and they look the part
Torsten 0 Posted July 23, 2007 alright guys, i think realy chavvy are blue or yellow painted ones :D thank you for your opinions and pics so far i kinda like the idea of painting them green to color match the rest of the car, maybe this is chavvy
JayGT 0 Posted July 23, 2007 to be honest i think its all depends on the rest of the car... Porsche use yellow for their ceramic brakes but we don't call them chavvy.... Ferrari use red as standard and we don't slate those either!? If a Saxo with an 8 inch exhaust and red/yellow calipers (or drums :D ) drove past then its pretty safe to say its a bit chavvy. In my opinion you can get away with most colours... as long as the rest of the car is cool.
Torsten 0 Posted August 15, 2007 i decided about what color to go with the brake caliper. im going to chrome plate the brake caliper brackets (?) and going to powder coat the brake caliper black or silver-grey (RAL 9007) i saw it last weekend on a Maserati and i kinda liked it .....
