Crasher 3 Posted December 14, 2007 So this is fuse 5 then? Disconnect the wiper motor and see if the fuse still blows.
mistrall 0 Posted December 14, 2007 okys ill try that :)
Jim Bowen 1 Posted December 14, 2007 i found the wiper motor is pretty vunerable to wet and stuff especially if you have a nice waxed bonnet and its been rained on, you lift bonnet and it dumps all the water straight onto the motor and its wires
Stan 24v 0 Posted December 18, 2007 You have a short to earth in the cct mate. Stick a multimeter on ohms at the fuse, with power off, and the other end to earth. You will get 0 ohms, or thereabouts. Disconnect the wiper motor and see if it goes o/c, if so then the fault is more than likely in the motor itself, if it doesnt then the fault is between the fuse and motor. Stan 24v 0 Posted December 21, 2007 Never changed one on a C but have done on a 200sx, and the worst thing was the access, and would assume it'd be pretty much the same on any car to be honest. Only way to find out is have a go mate, you cant drive it anyway.
