Very good figures Vorn, ok my turn now from my MOT on 29/7 !:

MOT no.14 safely in the bag, and no advisories  , scores on the door:

HC 32ppm, CO 0.020 (Fast Idle) and 0.13 (Natural Idle), Lambda 1.005

That was straight after HG replacement, head skimmed and serviced including new valve guides, new valve stem oil seals, valves lapped / reground and yet I still can't beat your cars overall figures, haha! :brickwall: :p Vorn I salute your mightily impressive emissions results! :notworthy:

Still, it's great to have the old girl back on the road now and ready to enjoy once again.

AV8 Breakfast club - Kemble Airfield. Last outing of the year before the winter lay up just as well as I think I may have picked up a speeding ticket on the way!

Nice pics Vaughan, Did the aircraft in the last pic have a bit of a rough landing ?!? I made it to the Pistonheads meet at Rolls Royce today.Rather good morning out, probably my second to last outing this year, next being Vr6oc at Brooklands

This airfield is great for photos and would make a good venue for a meet. There was not much left in that aircraft but looked like she was being prepped for a long journey on a trailer some where - Would make a neat garden shed! Have fun at Brooklands, there is a Concorde there if you have time - now that would make a great photo!

Hmmmm.... so many Storms being sold recently! I've foolishly started writing up a for sale add (got to 2 pages!) but had to stop as I need more time to think that through :bonk:

Give it a lot of thought mate...

Definitely will Andy but leaning towards something I can drive as a daily and a bit more exciting than the lease car I have at the moment. I suppose I could revert to using the Storm as a daily but having got her into such a good and clean condition feels like that would be a weekly and soul destroying battle against the elements! Funny how your mindset changes when you take them off the "daily road"!

Taxed and ready for a full service at D&G next week. Then maybe time to sell up? We'll see...

350/370Z! :p

That is a definite possibility :-) Took the old girl for a little spin this afternoon after the winter lay up and have to say she still ticks most of the boxes - parked up on 85,999 miles

Safely back from D&G with another service tick in the book. Thanks to Graham - glad to know he's doing well and there is a specialist garage for the Corrado still able to make a living. Thoroughly enjoyed driving her today, still eager, still got a lovely soundtrack, still able to turn heads and show a clean pair of heels when pushed. However just don't think I will be able to drive her enough to justify keeping her so with a heavy heart she will be going up for sale in July/August :(

Some classy cars up there today - Bentley Continental, Audi Quattro, Porsche 944 not to mention Jim's VR

Very disappointing to hear that, Vaughan. Always enjoyed chatting to you at various meets over the years!

My VR looking distinctly unclassy at the moment - needs a damn good clean, and that damage to the bumper sorting out!! :) Graham fired that Continental up the other day to move it out of the workshop and my god it sounded glorious. Wouldn't mind an hour behind the wheel to see what it goes like.
