Looks like a great car you've got there.

Where about in Oxford are you?

I lived in charlbury (about 15 miles from oxford) until i was 25. I bought a house in kent last year and now live in a village called edenbridge. where are you guys from?

I've been talking to my mate who is doing the work and i'm thinking about some subtle mods to do to the body work....

i was thinking i'd have the door handles painted body colour

the door rubbing strips removed

and the rear number plate surround painted

what do you think..... any more suggestions?

all comments appreciated!

looks really tidy mate :) love the colour as said before

the rubstiprs imo break the car up alot, i get the feeling if you get rid of them it might look too much, but then again, if you wanting the handles doing then it might look cool

the handles. i have reason to belive that rear ones from a passat or another vw(someone back me up yay or nay) and spray them, make sure you got rear ones tho just because they have no locks and would look better imo :)

i like the rear panel as is but there are people on here who have done it :)

looks swish anyways mate really like it :)

Check my sig and avatar. All that's been done to mine, which is the same colour as yours by the look of it.

Personally I'd keep the side strips but colour code them

I had to get rid of the corrado in mid 2009 due to being made redundant a couple of times then moving out to the Middle East for work. I'm back in the uk now but Iv'e put Corrado ownership on hold for a while because i need a car with a bit more space.

I had a C4 Audi Avant 2.8 Quattro a while ago and loved it - It was such a solid capable tourer and awesome in the snow, so i was on the hunt for another....

I sniffed out the perfect replacement - a 1997 S6 avant in volcano black metallic with just about every factory option from new. The car was on the Isle of White but after chatting to the owner It sounded amazing so I took the risk and dragged my girlfriend over there for the day with some cash burning a hole in my pocket.

As soon as i clapped eyes on it i knew it had to be mien - garage kept, full Audi service history, 72,000 miles from new and an original bill of sale for £43,000 in 1997!!!!!

The new S6......

72000 miles from new

electric and heated recaro half leather/ alcantara

black headlining

cruise control

xenons

sunroof

climate control

230bhp standard

i want to do a couple of things to it:

1, get it lowered

2, get the 5 cylinder 20v turbo re-mapped to 280bhp

3, get the wheel centres refurbed.

thats it..... what do you think?
