What did you do to the block to get it looking better?

Mine is in a similar state and it is need of a clean, any tips/info would be much appreciated!

I used acetone (or any strong solvant) and a nailbrush, you can use a towel or something also... And where the head gasket have been I used a gasket remover tool.

It just alot of elwbow grease and time :luvlove:

I just used a wirebrush and some elbow grease ;)

 

Going to order a Sharan gasket tomorrow and ARZ Tuning just checked my order... sooon boys!!! SOON!!

 

Thinking of doing the MK4 shifter mod also for a GT cruise Corrado ;)

Did get some help this weekend!

Alot of work done here people!!! CMON!!!

 

 

Today I orderd some mounts for the car.

 

The engine mounts and wishbone bushes, all in polyurethane and shore 60 so it will feel thight again!!!

Awww!! Thanks guys!!!

 

Well see if I do some more work today on it...

 

Did install the new valve cover gasket etc and painted all the bolts that was on the engine... just the painting did alot for the whole of the engine.. damn!!!
