Leonard 0 Posted August 7, 2008 Looked through all the past threads and I still don't know. Anyone got a link to a piccy? Or any other help would be good Thanks Matt
JayGT 0 Posted August 7, 2008 There is a 'hidden' fuse above the bank of main fuses and relays. Can feel for it by hand but probably easier to get your head in there. IIRC is a 25amp fuse - it also controls central locking.
Leonard 0 Posted August 7, 2008 Thanks So is it at the top on its own? Or on the left or right of the relays? Had a look last night but couldnt see anything.
JayGT 0 Posted August 7, 2008 Yup... at the top on its own. in the middle of the relays and is horizontal as opposed to the other fuses which are vertical.

Supercharged 2 Posted August 7, 2008 Yep - it's all in the instruction manual, located above the main fuse box
Leonard 0 Posted August 7, 2008 Ok I must be thick as Im still struggling. Thinking it must be the fuse as well since my mirrors have stopped working as well and I only fixed them two days ago! :( Have posted a pic below. Checked both fuses circled in red and they look ok :confused4: Also have this wire dangling doing nothing circled in blue, does it do anything???? LOL Thanks Matt
Critical_Mass 10 Posted August 7, 2008 I've got a wire/connector dangling behind my fuse box too.. dont worry about it. There looks to be a bit of a bodge job going on with those green and white wires though

dinkus 10 Posted August 7, 2008 Which day of the week was your car made on? I only ask as it seems to bear relevance to which fuse got what wired up to it  Have a look on the fusebox cover and it should tell you what position the windows fuse is in. 99% chance that it won't be that fuse. However, it should (I think!) tell you what rating that fuse should be. So go through and check every fuse of that rating and you should eventually find the culprit. Also - just because the fuse box cover says your windows should be on the same fuse as say, your spoiler, that doesn't mean it is either. All the stuff that needed the same rating fuse is mixed and matched depending on day of the week, whether it was Steve of Klaus doing the wiring and whether the month had a Y in it or not  Good luck!
