horney 0 Posted November 27, 2008 Cheers I'm well stoked with em and the best wheels I could get on my meager budget. No more big purchases now until sometime next year. I do still have some -10mm spring caps to fit up front to even up the stance a bit. Nick

dirtytorque 0 Posted January 2, 2009 You guys think so? I was really fed up with it, ha ha. Nick The light contrasting is brilliant. yeah definitely a calender pic. How do you go about taking a picture like that? I'm guessing you didn't buy the camera from argos. :)
horney 0 Posted January 2, 2009 You can buy the camera from argos (well you could, it's been replaced by a newer model now). It's a Canon EOS 400D with the standard kit lens on the front. The shot was taken in my local Asda carpark on a tripod with a slow shutter speed but I can't remember for how long. 20 secs maybe. I needed a longer lens hood to keep the rain of the front of the lens and I should have altered some of the settings as it's very grainy. I'll maybe give it another go on a rainy night when the car is clean and enter it for Jan 09. Nick

BadMeatPies 0 Posted April 14, 2009 wow thats clean! looks lovely! surprised I haven't seen this driving around the area at all, its certainly shiny enough to notice. whats that odd mark on the rear left bumper? or is that just a strange reflection?
horney 0 Posted April 14, 2009 It's a sodding great scuff in the bumper. It's even got a hole in it. Looks like someone ground it down a brick wall. It was like that when I bought it though and I'm always on the look out for a replacement bumper. Nick
horney 0 Posted May 3, 2009 Well it started making a grinding noise on braking the other day so had a look and oh dear. No pad left! Stopped using the car and then today whipped em off. A little worn then! Boshed on some greentuff's and some brembo grooved discs. Done the first 50 miles of bedding in already and so far so good. horney 0 Posted August 12, 2009 Been a while since my last update on the old girl. This week was MOT time and she had the following done before: * New windscreen * New drivers side wishbone, bushes, top mount and ball joint * Passanger side Top mount and balljoint * Passanger side Steering rack boot. Failed on: Handbrake effort too low. Advised on: * Both rear wheel bearings * rear beam bushes * Exhaust rotting * Loose Heat shield The garage cleaned up the calipers on the rear, re bled them and it passed. Not bad considering I've covered 15,000 miles in her in the last 11 months. Nick
