lhd interior int rhd car?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have a 1994 vr6 with cloth interior and am always on the lookout for leather to uprade it. I got overly excited on ebay and opted for buy it now on some biege interior (seats door cards carpet roof lining and panels) when i looked at the listing again I noticed it was left hand drive(it was mentioned once in small print but still my own stupid fault).

Can anyone tell me if this will fit into my right hand drive car? If not how much is it worth? I'm thinking not alot.

Thanks

Adrian

Should go straight in mate... only difference I can think of is the drivers side electric window button will need some modding for the off side and the existing hole will be slightly too big for the near side - other than that there shouldn't be too many issues plus your drivers seat will have less wear than your passenger seat!

Welcome to the forum btw :D

so your the person who beat me to them then, i was just waiting for a picture of the front seats. the front seats/back seats will fit 100%, as will the rear door cards. but seeing you only paid £250 for the interior :( you could just get your original front door cards retrimmed so they match your interior (late spec)

i was going to buy them, clean them up and put them back on e-bay when they were nice and clean.

the carpet will be cut differently at the front for the pedals, foot rests and throttle stop so you would end up with a heel pad on the wrong side and holes where the foot rests, pedals and throttle stop would normally be, you would also have to modify the other side to fit around your pedals ect as the passenger side carpet is a bit longer.

I would just sell the carpet on to someone with a left hooker.
