Hey, thought id put some pics of my car up, and find out, what people think.

im only a student so funds are limited.

Its an 89 16v KR, but gti engineering got hold of it and made a 2.0 litre. not sure what else they did.

Just to state first, I HATE THE WHEELS.

im into euro look, but am undecided on what wheels i want.

Spent bits and peices here and there,

like new discs and pads,

water pump,

radiator,

Expansion tank

and engine mount.

but i have put

jbl gto's all round and a new pioneer headunit.

and red ht leads

and i had it resprayed about 3 weeks ago.

Nice motor, I love a white corrado and white cars in general at the moment. Is it cloth or leather inside?

 

Also I like the alloys, they could sure be a lot worse. What would you replace them with if you could?

The alloys seem to compliment the car which looks very tasteful btw.

nice car, if it was a complete 2L engine conversion (RE2000) then it should have a flowed head and manifolds and possibly non standard cams, very well built conversions, many still going strong from then 80's.

Some had custom 2L cranks giving a slightly different capacity to the 9A engines, others used new VW 9A cranks when they became available for the passat.

awesome, i do have a soft spot for white rado's i was going to go look at one then i was looking for mine, but saw the nugget and fell in love lol.

im looking for, 16's maybe 15's that poke.

Brock B2s look like melted 5-spokes. Really don't like how they go "in" at the edges.

 

SMLs on the other hand are super awesome, and a perfect wheel for a dropped C imo :clap:

ha ha, i donno how ill do it, normally get my girlfriend to clean my wheels, but i dont think she will want a go on the bbs!

here a few pics of em.

im planning on white centres, chrome 2" lips, gold bolts and red centre caps with gold bbs writning, here are a few pics of the wheels, cant wait to start re-buildin 'em.

oh and a few pics of my girlfriends car 'as she just got her wheels' and her bumpers and doors smoothed (bump strips) and resprayed.

Ok changed rocker cover for a red one.

what did you use to make the camo badge? I think it looks alright!

masking tape and paint, sprayed first layer on (should have sanded it down first or primed it, but was to lazy.lol.) so paint didnt stick very well. but anyway. cut the masking tape into shapes and stuck them on. then sprayed it a different colour. then did that with a few colours. and finally took the tape off.
