The Max Power Corrado has appeared again on another forum, over in Ireland now, if I remember rightly there was a bit of controversy about it here a few years back :scratch:

They say its the max power one anyway, obviously been painted since and re-registered so no real way of telling I suppose.

Well. It looks petter than when it was pink......but it is still some monstrocity of a thing.

 

It has been pretty seriously neglected over the years (judging by some of the photos on ebay years back, not its current state), and must have been painted 5 different colours at this stage. :roll:

FK rear lenses can quite often look a bit pissed, they never seem to line up 100% - although those do look quite high!

 

There was a bit of controversy surrounding this car but sounds like its done and dusted - It has to be said, that paintwork and colour look awesome!

Yeah, with a few tweaks this could be very individual.

 

I seem to remember it being stolen though, back when it was blue (Which was before it was Pink)

 

Did that get sorted out? Or is it just hiding on Irish plates?

It does sound like it, the car was a perfectly good black 1.8 16v, it had a 2L TSR engine conversion and then it got the bodykit and an orange respray :pukeright:

It does look a lot better repainted now though.

I quite like that kit (Zender?) in an 80s/90s kinda way. Huets did the install for that car when it first broke cover and it was insane :nuts:

Awesome motor that could be even more awesome if the kit was toned down a little by way of a little reshaping and smoorhing but not scene smooth.

I'd roll in that all day long with a few subtle tweaks. Just goes to show how much a colour makes the car. It looks like a cross between a Rado and the new Bat Mobile, and that's good!

I remember being a kid buying max power with this on the cover if i remember right and being blown away! - although it was in the days of bright pink escort gti's with wrc kits on them

I like it... and i hate bodykits! - in the same way i love the look of eric's (tempest) rocco with a reiger kit... works well in an old skool 80's way, and i do love the black,

 

If i had the money to be buying another project corrado then i'd considder it... sling a set of super wide 80's wheels on it (diablo wheels maybe) and a turbo kit of the 16v then you have super 80's coupe that'd go as much as she showd!

Losing the high-level wing would emphasis the "Fat" look, smooth the "Gills", bin the bonnet pins,

 

could make it look so better...

 

And yeah so much fitting in this paint guise than the previous ones!

 

Good to see a "Goundbreaking" Corrado still exists though, even if it's not to all tastes...

 

So question is How much?

No idea what the conclusion was, after it was taken/seized from a member on here years back (iirc it was painted blue then?). All sounded a bit dodgy iirc though! :|
