matt-the-mussel 0 Posted February 5, 2009 Help! I was cleaning out the crud from the scuttle (wet passenger footwell)! and noticed this little fella flapping around. Does anyone know what it should be connected to and where best to get a new one? Its a 2 ltr 16v (9A).
blue95 0 Posted February 5, 2009 That should be attached to your bonnet, via one of the nuts between hing and the bonnet. No big deal if its broken TBH

mariojoshi 1 Posted February 7, 2009 This seems to be VERY common. Mine did the same a long time ago. Doubt it's critical, but on old cars with old electrics, a good earth is always a good idea.
