Recommend a headunit - £150

i've had a Nakamichi headunit in the corrado since i got it, i've had that headunit for 5yrs and my brother had its for about 3yrs before that, good knows how it lasted so long, but its time to replace it.

 

I can't afford much at the moment so £150 is my limit, i quite fancy an ipod ready one, or one with a USB as most of my music is now on itunes.

if the nakamichi has lasted for 8 years i would get another one, if not alpine all the time for me :)

nakamichi all the way!! by far the best sound quality far much better then alpine and sony etc,

 

best thing about nakamichi is that they look so basic, and kind of go with the standerd looks of the car. id save up and just get another one tbh,

i just got a Blaupunkt Hamburg MP57 for mine, its dark grey and black and matches the interior styling of the b3 passat/corrado well. After fiddling with them all in halfords i decided the blaupunkt ones felt the best made.

 

has bluetooth hands free, usb, 4xpre outs, 2x aux ins (one on front panel), wma, mp3 etc, cost me £140 including all the breakout leads, direct from Blue Spot (Blaupunkt uk).

Cost me £90 and it sounds great has Ipod and USB connectivity and goes really well with the Corrado interior

i ordered the alpine last night, found it for £130 so bought an ipod too.

 

can't wait to get it fitted now. Have spent this weekend sorting the doors out, fitted some new speakers and fixed the rattles
