blackthorn 0 Posted March 24, 2009 ok well ive had my rado since feb and done a fair old bit of work to her... if any of use can be botherd to read this massive thread and i mean massive feel free to do so :D lol started like this: fucked front passenger wing but he's throwing a new one in :rock: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- scored these: driver seat in: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- got the other seat in the other day: trial fited the rear wheel jsut so i could see how sex it would be and oh my its SEX!!!! what does everyone think now then? done a fair old bit today! had the full front end off to get the bumper back in place as it was sitting wrong! sprayed some rub marks under the arches put g60's on for mot cleaned up some fuel lines and put copper slip grease on them put the dash back togeather put some new builbs in fixed the exhaust as it had a small blow at a joint! pics: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- some pics of when i done the brakelines: replaced every single brake line on the car! it failed mot on 4 and 3 flexies so just thought i'd do it all whilst im under the car lol and fitted some xenons to her today (the old ones off my olop) : ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ only the roof and spoiler for now - as they were the worst parts and i just dont have the time today for a complete correction detail :lol: not much in the way of pictures as grum nicked my car lol but it came up well i think :) will get round to a full correction as somepoint when Andy can get the car upto mine awsome:D ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- update: well got 2 of the mims back from IPF today... so they started like this remember: and now... Candy Apple Red with Cream centres! Thank you please :D:D:D now for the uberly awsome engine mod... well its uberly awsome to me alright lol rare as fudge... just awsome... Genuine GTI Engineering head!!! :rock: thoughts on all of the above? :D ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- first pic of a wheel tryed on... now remember it will look alot better once dave finishes polishing her so it will all match and look awsome: i think they look even better now with the Audi centres ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- been at her all day doing a few things... dash is all back togeather carpets out sanding down some rust bits primering and spraying £20 of v-power back seats out thought about taking the rear cards out but decided yo do it tomorrow lol pics: i got carried away with the paint abit lol -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- well finally going to put the pics up for the carpet lol: many thanks to Dave (badly_dubbed) for cleaning them! if anyone needs a good valet done to there car... go to him :rthumb: also got my other two wheels back from IPF today hopefully get them back on the car tomorrow :D also, also guess what came today :D oh whats that i hear u ask?... hmm... whats this? could it be Andys GTI engineering head?... yes yes it is :D :D ooooh yesh!!! im soooo happy and excited today :rock: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- thats all for now! ive done soooo much to the car since i got it though: full service fuel filter oil filter oil accel cable sparkplugs heater matrix coolent brake lines brake flexies brake fluid seats wheel whoring xenons mot tax jet washed the carpets dremaled rust patches, primed and sprayed to steering wheel battery gti engineering head door cards fixed a hole in the zorst fixed the bumper replaced a wing (still to be sprayed) aw god theres loads! if u have read this all i very muchly appriciate it but also sorry for the massive eassy lol cheers, Andy Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

blackthorn 0 Posted March 26, 2009 Henny, nah its just std valves but they have been knife edged so they act like it has bigger valves :) its a stage one head btw! got some nice plans for the engine im building :D 2ltr bottom end 1.8 GT engineering head cat 266 fast road cams cat adjustable pully dellorto twin 45 carbs i dont know why i done the audi centres jsut wanted to be random in all honesty lol im thinking about selling the wheels and getting 16's... will have to see though!
