Top car is mine from a while back so is Aqua blue.

Bottom car is Stormcharged's one. So is the Storm Mystic blue colour. Im not 100% that the black would work as well on Aqua as it does with Mystic

Personally I would go Aqua with an Aqua grill.

This is how i want mine, but can anyone shed light on how to reattach the plate surround, assuming it doesn't snap removing it!

It's bonded in place right?

Its not bonded. Not on my C anyway. You need to take out the lights and its held in place by four very easily broken tabs.
