Swompy's Ice grey violet. Now gone to a new home

Put some new rear pads on last night and it wasnt easy.

 

Spent about two hours tryihng to free one of the sliders (sorry dont know real name) on the carrier, that the caliper conects to as this had seized up :( got it working now tho after shouting at it a few times :D

 

And who needs a the caliper wind back tool when you have a G clamp, big pair of pliers and an extra pair fo hands 8)

 

 

All working as it should do and i realy enjoyed doing it too :D

Good work, Jake! Never had a go at the rears myself... the vRS will need doing in the next couple of months- maybe I'll have a go :)

Its preaty easy as long as every thing goes to plan.

 

The one that I had the problems with took me about 2 hours o do, the other side took me 30mins as there wasnt any probolems

sorted the rims?

 

No not yet still got one shinny and three painted ones 8)

 

Havent gotten around to finding some one to do or doing the polishing to the other three yet

 

Need to look into it and see what I need

Had a great run on the rollers today.

 

managed to get 146.7 bhp @ 6188 and 140.5 lbft @ 4364 8)

 

rather pleased with that as its preaty much standard apart from the exhuast :D

 

Got a nice bench mark to work from now 8)

 

will get some pics up and a video tomoro

Got some new tinted rear lights thanks to vr6-phil :salute:

 

Got them fitted to day and love the look all ready 8)
