What are these headlights?

Saw this pic on the DDI site illustrating their cool front bumper.

 

Anyone know what the headlights are or where to get them? I emailed DDI but got no answer :(

i believe they are custom ones made from Audi A4 headlights....

 

something along those lines anyway, pretty sure they are not off the shelf

I have been wanting to do this mod to mine for ages, looks so nice. If I ever get round to it, I'd like to try the Halo angel eyes A4 lights. The only problem is, I'm not that handy at making things and a set of A4 lights are a lot of money only to end up ruining :shock:

 

I've read through the write up on how they were done, but I always thought I'd buy a set of Corrado lights at the same time and figure a way of getting the A4 cluser to fit into the Corrado housing??

Unless I've misunderstood you, you can't fit the A4 cluster as it's supplied into the Corrado housing; it's just too big. You have to break open the A4 cluster housing and make a new one along the lines described in the mod on the DDI site.

 

If enough people were interested it should be possible to get housings of the correct size properly manufactured from a prototype, but the A4 light cluster housing would still need to be broken open to get the lights out.

Has anyone had any success at having a go at this mod?

 

Just had another read through of the DDI thread, sizing looks to be the killer here. I mean do we have to make a completely new housing or has anyone chopped a standard one to make them fit yet?

 

Just got hold of an Audi light internals and it all looks so big laid out on the floor. I've got In-Pro lights and want to use the clear lens from those, also have the HID's, so thats sorted. Just want to get the housing cracked (not literally!).
