The pedal box is a common thing to go on the Mk4s.

yeah thats what I found out as well......not often VW will do anything for free so would defo make most of it if I had to :D

Rear arches are bad because there is no inner arch covering unlike the fronts. Run your fingers along the inside and should be caked in mud. Causes rust :( Again that might be total crap but it is covered in mud! :)

:clap: :clap: We bought one finally last night.......

 

1998 S reg, 1.4 CL, 95k on clock, full history, Blue, one lady owner from new and EVERYTHING works.......paid £900 which I thought was ok considering the complete tat we saw at around the £700 mark and the slightly inflated London prices - Never understood that really :scratch:

 

Thanks everyone for the bits of advice :salute: corrado net full of helpful folk as usual

 

Now I wonder If I can get a set of 16V alloys on without the misses finding out :lol:

As nice as it is I didnt really think many people would be interested in seeing a (dont let my grilfriend here me say this) boggo polo, but will post some up when I get the chance over the weekend 8)
