Changing VR6 fuel filter

Hello All

 

Could anyone help?

 

I need to change the fuel filter on my Corrado VR6.

Is the a quick guide anyone is aware of?

you may find that one or other of the clips get stuck and will not let you pull the plastic housing down. Be careful and carefully lever the clip out. Then as above, its an easy swop. Use some copper grease on the new jubilees, not that you will need to open them for another 10 years!

Use proper fuel line clips not Jubilee's if possible, Jubilee clips are not constant tension and will lead to the fuel line cracking.

Cheers for the advice guys!

The problem was that the pipe was deteriorated around the clips.

I put proper fuel pipe clips on and hopefully have now solved the leak!
