came at the right price Kev, you saw what I did to the mk2 golf, that turned into something special in a short amount of time, and I intend to follow the same route :)

A good polish, and de-swirling the bodywork should make it 100x better.

forgot to mention, the six branch i've got lined up in ceramic coated.

The Corrado came last night!

Needs a bit of work, well quite a bit really, but means I can strip it down, and replace anything thats needed.

Got a massive pile of parts now, awaiting further bits this weekend :) including an OBD2 conversion :)

Still got a fair few bits to get yet before I can crack on with the mechanical stuff.

Need my Samcos, Schimmel flywheel, hubs, oil, coolant, coilpack and a battery.

Think I've got everything else I need now :)

I like the wheels, should look quite nice once lowered etc...

What spacers did you run on the front? do I need shave anything off the calaper? :)

I only ran 3mm spacers and I shaved a bit of the caliper carrier off, didn't have to touch the calipers themselves.

It will only be for the front as at et15 the rears should clear the strut and they will be miles away from the brakes.

The issue always seems to be with the brace bar on the caliper carrier, not the carrier itself. The 288mm brakes are ok as they dont have this bar.

Id be more worried about 9in ET30 and clearing the coilovers. Im sure its ok but it will be tight I reckon.

Can only but try lol - I'd assume herisites ran coilovers on his corrado to get it slammed that low?

Will have to get playing once I get permission of the missus lol - still need do jobs around the house before I can play!

They clear them no problem.

And yep, no spacers needed for the back, they'd be outside the arch too much if you did!

Looking forward to seeing this progress, lovely little stash of bits you've got, quite jealous and nice base car too.

Where did you get the sump guard from if you don't mind me asking? Looks very mason tech esq.

And how much was the Reniz headgasket kit?
