too hot 0 Posted August 27, 2009 Ok guys been away from Corrados for more than a year now!!! Yeah hard to believe   Thing is for some reason the other day started looking at Cars for sale. Fancied getting a MK1 GTI as a winter project but on looking couldnt believe how prices have fallen on Corrados. So I could easily pick up a project Corrado for the same money or less than a MK1 GTI :luvlove The car does not have to be mint or even driveable just cheap and repairable. Ideally a VR but possibly a G60 there seems to be plenty out there more so than MK1`s The question is should I or am I just being :cuckoo: Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated, possibly the phone number to The Priory too
Wullie 1 Posted August 27, 2009 Simples, as a certain meerkat would say. Get a Corrado. No point in getting the Priory's number. They won't accept Corrado addicts as it's an incurable condition.

carter711 0 Posted August 27, 2009 Heya! I'm the guy that bought your old Corrado! Still going strong although a few bits here and there have been replaced/need replacing as you'd expect. Engine still runs and pulls (and sounds) lovely! I've put a private plate on it but still haven't gotten around to lowereing it, should be done before long though. I don't know if I could bring myself to sell it!

carter711 0 Posted August 28, 2009 I had to change the wheels as I hit a mighty pot hole early this year and actually cracked the rim :( :( I managed to find some decent replacements for the time being though, some 17" O.Z ABTs. I got them on Ebay for a very good price. Here's a pic of them with a virtual suspension drop! :D I think I'll be keeping it for a loooong time! too hot 0 Posted August 28, 2009 Hey Jon looking good You are obviously taking care of the old girl :) Those ABT wheels are really sweet and suit the Corrado perfectly. Very old skool  Making some moves on a new Corrado myself will let you know how it goes :salute:
