fla 9 Posted August 30, 2009 i've got some fogs which have loads of little scratches and very shallow chips in them. Chips is a strong word but i dont really know how else to describe them - but they look a but dull. Is there any way of removing the top layer or somehow buffing them to remove the scratches? millerman 0 Posted September 6, 2009 could try a rouge stick this may work on glass and use with a polishing tip on a dremel !
Wastegate86 0 Posted September 6, 2009 my bad believe there is a kit you can buy on the net to clean up glass think it requires a buffer though seen it been done on a windscreen looked amazing when it was finished
Jim Bowen 1 Posted September 6, 2009 the lake county or country? glass polishing kit i've seen used on windscreens but you need a machine polisher to use it could get the yellow pages out and look for a local polishing place, jewellery shop or something? maybe? :confused4:
8vMatt 1 Posted September 11, 2009 I've used some fine wire wool to buff my fog lights. They had loads of fine scratches and chips, they look so much better now. Its not 100% cure but did take the worst of them out and gave the glass a shine again. Very pleased with them now. Hope it helps someone.
