dgtvr6 0 Posted November 12, 2009 As it says... How much would I need to fork out for a set of recaros... Condition of covers can be absolute dogsh*te to be honest as long as they are in decent condition under the cover... Will be getting them recovered anyway
VR6 0 Posted November 12, 2009 As condition's not important, you could pick up some that have been sat in a barn for ten years for £50 if you're lucky! Average conditon, maybe £400. Good to very good condition £600 and mint maybe around £800+. How long's a piece of string though! It depends on cloth/leather, colour, just front seats or rear bench and door cards as well ..... ? Too many variables for a more accurate response!
dgtvr6 0 Posted November 12, 2009 Front seats only... Colour and cloth/leather not important... Really WILL be recovering so can take in very poor looking condition as they will be given lots of TLC
VR6 0 Posted November 12, 2009 Try and get some for less than a couple of hundred quid then! Problem you might find is finding someone just selling the fronts in bad condition.
foster 0 Posted November 12, 2009 Get some from a different car and modify the frames maybe?

vagingit.co.uk 0 Posted November 16, 2009 Always keep your eyes peeled on ebay, I managed to get hold of a set of electric/heated leather recaros from a chap in London for £150! Thats complete with leather rear bench The drivers seat needs some repair work, but still useable and the passenger seat is mint!
hodaz 0 Posted November 26, 2009 What othe Recaro fronts would go into a Corrado? I was thinking of fitting Ford RS Turbo Recaro's as they are so comfortable and such a good design, then just swapping the sub-frames. Plus can be picked up for pennies comapred to genuine Corrado items, all I''m worried about is the drving position?
