dgtvr6 0 Posted November 25, 2009 Why do so many Corrados seem to have ONH as the letters??? Also, how many actually do have ONH? Is it simply me seeing it everywhere as I have ONH or is it genuinely common?
too hot 0 Posted November 25, 2009 Think its got something to do with VW fleet or press cars. All registered originally by VW???? Might be wrong though!!
Danny B 0 Posted November 25, 2009 Its wierd isnt it, I always thought the same thing about black cabs in london, there seems to be soo many with ORK at the end of the plates....... I always remember it because it can make so many words with the first letter of the plate, my mates dad's cab was 'PORK' !! Thats what happens to your mind in London traffic these days :brickwall: There must be some explination related to the relevant manufactueres recieving batches of number plates
mic_VR 3 Posted November 25, 2009 If it helps, mines not ONH........ But you're right, do see a lot with very similar reg numbers. Guess it is because they were sold in such small numbers, and many pre-registered with a dealer, that the numbers ended up being fairly close together? too hot 0 Posted November 26, 2009 Its the local reg for Northampton,VW HQ is Milton Keynes and the closest local office to register vehicles is Northampton. I still think its to do with VW registering the vehicles as either fleet or management cars :)
