sixpotter 0 Posted December 8, 2009 As above, got progressivly louder and is now almost stopped and only works on 4. Replaced the foliage cover seal so no more water is getting in but what parts are needed to replace the blower motor, are they the same as a mk2 Golf? sixpotter 0 Posted December 17, 2009 Have now soldered 2 new fuses in the last one didn't blow and worked on all speeds... for one day and now its back as it was on 4! fla 9 Posted September 20, 2012 mines doing this too - blowing thermal fuses whenever its on speeds 1, 2 or 3. I've modified my resistor housing so i can just pop the fuses in and out without soldering, but still need to take out the glovebox :( Fan is not noisy, runs fine on the first speeds for about 10 minutes (i usually always leave the fan on speed 1) and then blows. any ideas?
