fitting older sill covers to newer VR

Hi quiet like the look of the old style sill covers, the ones with Corrado Script embossed into them, imo i think they look better. My question is are they a straight forward fit for the existing ones or do i have to modify anything??

 

any help i would be most grateful.

if your on about the old thin plastic stick on type with corrado written on them, i think you can still buy these new as an accesory at vw dealer, i enquired about new hard plasstic sill cover on my late 8v , and they dont list them only the sticky corrado ones. :(

Yes they fit all the corrado models, but there is only one type available from the dealers and its the thin self adhesive " Corrado" script type at £22.69each Trade. Part No..535853813a01c

Thanks guys, so have they always been stick on strips, as i saw one at i show and it looked like hard plastic? but cant be 100% sure??

nates has hard sills on his chris, mine are the thinner sticky ones ,me n nate did try to get them off on sat but impossiable without destroyin em

Rob do they have Corrado written on them??? mine are the hard plastic ones, but prefer the Corrado scipt ones, any one got these fitted can any one confirm are ALL the corrado Scipted one stick on or did some come as hard plastic?

Can you do me a favour please and measure the length and width so i can see how these compare to my current ones.

pretty sure nates are plain mate [the thicker ones ]i have corrado script on mine . :)

yep mine are plain well have ridges in them and are hard and can be removed and replaced quited easily...

 

robs is the scripted ones and once removed bin them and replace they do look good though......

 

go round and have a look chris only rounf the corner before it goes in the shop....
