so nice to be involved with this trip...... great peoples, touring cars & other racing on the day was ace, fab weather (ouch burned legs!) and to top it all some well nice Mr Whippy Ice Cream (thanks again Wendy!!)

Was that when we were parked up by the camera obscurer (sp?)

Wendy wandered over to a car parked up in the corner and spoke to the occupants where were very excited to have seen us and said they had a mate who would be gutted to know he had missed us.

I have finished the route for the Corrado Trip in Scotland.

Date of event - Friday 11th June (from Banbury) to Sunday 20th June.

Just incase there was problems on route and they werent in scotland yet.

Lets be honest its corrado,s they are driving,there is bound to be problems.

In a word no. All cars performed with pure class. Apart from a bearing which was known about before hand. We certainly weren't gentle with them either.

All cars can go wrong at some point and one there was 20 years old and that was fine too. Dont see many cars that age blasting over the mountains with a 60 year old at the wheel :-)

Overall I think Corrado's are pretty reliable if looked after.

Waits for Karma to do its thing. Lol!

i'd love to meet up with you all in darvel. i'm new to the forum and only live 2 miles away in galston. corrado has a bent valve and wont be ready in time but i'd love to come and meet up with yous

Sounds like you all had a fantastic time.

 

Is this something you might be interested in doing next year too? I'd be well up for something like that... or maybe an organised trip to the Nurburgring
