i stumbled accross this on the net and is it me or should volkswagen have made a convertable version ov the c i think it would have been pretty awesome(questionable styling) but on the whole pretty cool.

actually, for a floppy top, that looks alright. still would'nt own a convertible though.

That's the Karmann museum... I'm sure I've got some better pics of it somewhere as I've seen it a few times now! :) It's not a bad looking car. There was a Zender convertible too... that looked pretty good.

i like it each to there own i spose. dont know bout the others but karmann one as said was 1995 near the end of production anyway .it was proberbly to costly tbh considering our beloved cars were a flop and two expensive they didnt bother.

I was getting ready to puke from the thread title but barring a few questionable max power details I actually don't mind the silver one.....I think it might be because it looks like its kept the high bootline/waistline of the corrado as opposed to the others that continue the line from the front doors :shrug:

The straight line fron the windscreen to the rear spoils it for me. It takes away the Corradoness and looks too much like a golf with funny clothes on.

Yes Wullie thats exactly what I was saying, it takes away the higher waistline which makes the corrado design so distinctive....I think !!
