We know what you drive!!! What do you do???

You'd do well to get into Security 8)

Oooooh now you're getting me excited, that's my other hobby (apart from my Corrado...) I'm into Linux iptables/ipchains and have a smoothwall running at home on my adsl connection... 8)

Don't even start me on VPNs/ipsec/pptp and all that....

I'll get my coat.....

Yay.. another Linux user :)

I run a bunch of Linux servers for my job, and I am currently in negotiation with my boss to get a Red Hat Certified Engineer course & certification under my belt. Which would be nice.

Jims16V, yeah definitley pursue that CCNA mate, it's tough! You need 85% to pass! I somehow managed 92% and I thought I'd failed it! I did a fastrack course, not one of those exam cram jobs, but a proper class room filled with real CISCO routers and switches. It's the CCNPs and CCIEs that command the big bucks but passing the CCIE is hard work but if you've got one of those and are well sorted in Internet Security, bank on £1000+ a day!

Stormseeker, might need to have some off forum chats with you mate as I'm trying to expand my knowledge in all things Security!!

Vr6Storm, sorry dude but I find most Corrado drivers are in the IT field, must be something to do with needing the cash to afford 20mpg and grp 18 insurance!!

Cheers

Kev

though my right foot must be a bit lighter than yours as i can get around 22-23mpg round town

and i'm only winding you guys up.................you can speak about anything you want to here(though politics etc maybe best avoided)

I'm an offshore engineer, mainly doing underwater pipeline and structure surveys with ROV's (Remotely Operated Veichles, unmanned Submarines). Get to travel the world but i'm normally away for quite a while. Hard to plan things etc... I've been doing it for 6 years now. When I'm at home I've got to go into the office to do reports and stuff but always just surf the web... he he...

Yup! ANOTHER Geek :D

I work for Fujitsu Services in Belfast. We run "Managed Networks" for many of the Civil Service branches over here. I'm a "Windows NT Specialist" apparently!

Currently studying for my MCSE (gets me out of the office on courses) :)

Once that's complete, I wouldn't mind doing CCNA nightclasses like Jims16v.

I agree that Security is were the $$ is.

Might do nightclasses in motor maintenance first.

Helps to be a DIY mechanic when you own a Corrado :D

Still, it ain't all bad. There are so few Corrados on the roads over here that mine turns even more heads

At the Derby site out of the three guys down there two have C's so it looks like a lot of owners are in IT

No wonder when you say IT your insurance goes up
