OSV 0 Posted December 5, 2010 List of colours used during the 1992 to 1995 production run of Corrado VR6s courtesy of CCGB Alpine White :salute: Aqua Blue Pearl Effect Paint :salute: Black Bordeaux Pearl Effect Paint (Red) Bramble Metallic (Red) :salute: Brilliant Black Metallic :salute: Candy White Classic Green Pearl Effect Paint :salute: Dark Burgundy Pearl Effect Paint (Black Red) :salute: Dark Violet Pearl Effect Paint Dusty Mauve :salute: Dragongreen Pearl Effect Paint :salute: Flash Red :salute: Green Pearl Effect Paint Icegrey Violet Metallic :salute: Jasmin Yellow Khaki Pearl Effect Paint Limoge Blue Moonlightblue Pearl Effect Paint :salute: Mystic Blue Pearl Effect Paint Pearl Grey Metallic Satin Silver Metallic :salute: Sherry Pearl Effect Paint (Orange) Storm Grey Metallic :salute: Twilight Violet Pearl Effect Paint :salute: Violet Touch Pearl Effect Paint Thats 25 different colours! Some are obviously pretty rare but with c 9,000 UK registered Corrados of all models throughout its production there surely can't have been any more than 50% of them VR6s? (anyone got any accurate figures?) Which means that with 25 different paint codes every colour must be available on only a limited number of cars, were all these colours available on UK cars?. Assuming (incorrectly) an equal distribution there would be only 180 cars in each colour. In reality however some are very rare such as Khaki Pearl Effect Paint, Jasmin Yellow (if any) and not forgetting the 6 Dusty Mauve Campaigns  Have we got an example of a VR6 in every colour here on the forum? Pics please and thoughts. Will update with smiley for example of each colour :salute:

Jim 2 Posted December 5, 2010 I believe it was Blackberry Metallic on the Corrado, but then subsequently renamed / sold as Bramble on the Golf but also known as Bramble in other territories like the USA? Though don't hold me to that :)

James. 9 Posted December 5, 2010 ah i see.. yes they did a dusty mauve too on the golf all very similar They did on 6 Corrado's too - the Campaigns were Dusty Mauve. Technically they should also be on the list. *prods OSV* To be fair to OSV the list is based around production colours and LC5P - Dusty Mauve wasn't quite production  But feel free to add it for the purpose of being complete :salute: On a similar paint based note. I was 24 hours away from buying a Khaki green 16v from a chap in Workington a couple of months before I bought the Campaign. He was emigrating and leaving the car here. It had about 85k on it and was a one family car. He sold it for handy money to a friend in the end as I missed an email from him the day before he left. Was gutted in one respect, but then every cloud etc etc..... I wonder where it is now ? Anyone spotted it in the Cumbria area ??? Here's Dusty Mauve - LC5P either way: Dalton side on.jpg[/attachment:1j8l234k]
