James. 9 Posted February 26, 2011 Paul at Ashley James interiors is your man (the chap who did my dash). I've seen the wheels he's done and I wouldn't go anywhere else. NB: Re-trimming a steering wheel is not cheap. 01257 476000 http://www.ashleyjamesautotrim.co.uk
16VG60 1 Posted February 26, 2011 Joe at Trim Deluxe in littlehampton West Sussex has done some very good steering wheel re-trims for me. Can reccomend him very highly.
Jon_vr6 1 Posted February 26, 2011 Thanks fellas, yeah i know a steering wheel aint going to be cheap but i fancy having the OEM steering wheel retrimmed in standard black leather with red stitching to match the gear gaitor that my missus kindly did
VR-OOM 0 Posted February 26, 2011 I'd be interested to know what you're quoted Jon as mine could do with a re-trim. Cheers James
Roan 0 Posted February 27, 2011 Try this guy on eBay Germany: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140373130544&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT This is for a replacement (non-exchange) wheel but he can do an exchange for less if you look at his other items. I had my old Golf VR6 wheel, handbrake gaitor and gear shifter gaitor replaced with his stuff and it was exceptional quality.

Abdul 0 Posted September 20, 2013 Jack at Royal Steering wheels. All the guys on M3cutters use him, very nice work at resonable prices.
tonedef 9 Posted April 9, 2019 Had my spare steering wheel re-trimmed over the winter by Jack at Royal Steering Wheels http://royalsteeringwheels.com Had it done in original black with black stitching but a whole world of choices were available on the website! Not pennies cheap but I didn't think £130+VAT plus a tenner postage was much to pay for a specialist job, looks like a new wheel in the car and so much better than the old tired one, highly recommended if you're looking for similar.
