Meh... can think of many other cars I'd rather spend £100k on to be honest! Never been a big fan of rally cars.

See I love rally cars and to me this is the ultimate. Id have this over the Audi. This one with it being chassis 001 it would be an investment. My problem is Id be wanting to drive the thing all the time.

I love rally cars much more exciting than F1 and the drivers are sooo much better lovin the lancia,i remember when i was a mechanic 1986 and the lancia was competing in the rac, driving up to kielder to watch them totally mint .......

I like the Delta, but wouldn't pay that sort of money for one though.

 

Would love a UR too, especially a Short Wheelbase Group B special, but I think a Dialynx 'cut n shut' one is the only option. How much do original shorties go for? If you can actually get one that is?

 

Does anyone have much experience with a UR? I would imagine getting one up to scratch would cost an absolute fortune and we'd probably face the same unique parts prices / obsoletion issues we've got with Corrados? I know the original 10V engine is obsolete. You'd have to upgrade to the 20V if replacing the motor. Oh, the shame..... :lol:

The Ur body panels are supposed to be almost impossible to get, I would suspect they are like the corrado x 5 for getting parts for. I think you would need to buy one and a doner shell just in case. That and I reckon both the Ur and Delta are not that fast anymore.
