Jim 2 Posted October 20, 2011 Yep... The Corrado Club has been allocated a slightly miserly 3 car stand. There will be lots of people from the forum and the club there though this year as it's popular event for us!

Tempest 0 Posted October 20, 2011 m guessing the corrado club has to pay more for more cars on its stand ? No idea why after having been in the previous 4 years, and always having been given a stand that could accommodate 5-6 cars, we this year only get a stand that can take up to 3 cars. It may be that there are simply more and more car clubs trying to get a stand each year, the more popular this show gets. It may be that the CCGB simply does not take out more options to decorate the stand that make money for the oprganisers. Clubs like Merc, BMW etc. all get BIG stands, but also pay massive amounts of money to get things like carpeting, lighting rigs, electricity, which in turn pulls in the money-paying visitor crowds (which is how the show organisers ultimately make their money). Do come and visit us, since we will have a very nice stand. like in the 3 previous years (1st year we were at this show on our own) combined qwith that of the SciroccoRegister. We do try and get a good selection of cars, too :) Tempest

Tempest 0 Posted October 30, 2011 (edited) We´re in hall 6 on stand C92 this year. Map of halls and stands here: http://www.floorplanlive.com/public/floorplanpdf.aspx?showid=233&viewid=1 Keep your entry ticket and drop off on the CCGB stand; the CCGB can reclaim some sort of discount for each ticket. A way for the organsiers also to monitor how many visitors a club attracts. Tempest Edited October 30, 2011 by Tempest
Tempest 0 Posted November 4, 2011 Cars to be on the stand Thursday 11 am onwards: Hall 6, stand C92. The staff on-site should be able to assist you in guiding you in the right direction and hall-door. Pete 0 Posted November 5, 2011 (edited) I'll be there on the Saturday sporting my Movember foliage!!! Not sure I'll be bringing the C though because I want to let the new paint harden before putting big/fast miles on it. James. 9 Posted November 5, 2011 For all those attending. You can get a discount for Saturday and Sunday (not Friday). Type in CLUB11 on checkout (CLUBF11 for family tickets). Instead of £17.50, you'll get them for £15.50 each. Just paid for mine and it worked a treat. (Found this info on the Jensen owners club site)
Yandards 0 Posted November 6, 2011 Really wanted to go to this, last year was fantastic especially walking around with Crazy D on the Thursday night when the halls were all ready to go but with no crowds. Keep an eye out for random mobile phones under demo seats folks!

Tempest 0 Posted November 6, 2011 Those buying a ticket, please do keep receipts and hand them in to the stand, so that the CCGB can demonstrate footfall that our stand generates, in an attempt to get a bigger stand again next year :) Tempest

Tempest 0 Posted November 11, 2011 First set of pics, some very tasty cars again, although some still coevered up as of last night, when I walked around the place after having cleaned my car and finalised the stand  Pics: Tempest
swiftkid 1 Posted November 11, 2011 Tempest Drool!! that is quite literally car porn, stick a 6r4 next to them and that would be my dream garage.
steve_16v 0 Posted November 11, 2011 I went today for the 3rd year in a row and it was excellent as always, shame the Corrado stand only had three cars there but I had a good nose around them all and they were all beauties! And no pictures do that Speed 12 above justice, it's just got so much presence it's unreal, car of the show for me Drool!! that is quite literally car porn, stick a 6r4 next to them and that would be my dream garage. There was a lovely 6r4 on show with the metro/austin club
James. 9 Posted November 12, 2011 As above. Once again a great show as always. A truly superb level of cars presented. And as always a friendly chat/smile over at the Corrado stand. The laminated display was an excellent idea. Well done to all involved. Met Sir Stirling Moss as well... ...which was nice.
Pete 0 Posted November 13, 2011 Just got back from there via a curry, was really great show and to be honest I saw more cars I actually want to own than I probably would at a show of current model stuff!
Jim 2 Posted November 13, 2011 Don't know if anyone stopped by Dream Rides but they had a Jaguar XJ220.. passenger rides were 100 quid. Goes to charity and you get a ride in a rare supercar.. win!
