Henny 0 Posted March 21, 2004 yup... 1992 G60 with space saver, although my 1991 (H) 1.8 16V had a full size sebring alloy as a spare... :?
Supercharged 2 Posted March 21, 2004 yup... 1992 G60 with space saver, although my 1991 (H) 1.8 16V had a full size sebring alloy as a spare... I think that was an option, to have a full size spare alloy rather than a ss
Jim 2 Posted March 21, 2004 My old 16v had estoril wheels but a full size Sebring as a spare (and no tool kit I might add), but my new Rado has what looks like a totally unused space saver with a nice flat boot carpet :)
Phil K 0 Posted March 21, 2004 I have an un-used space saver and IIRC the carpet is slightly raised but not too bad... also have a spare BBS rim - wouldn't have thought this would be a good fit so never tried it in there!
chubbybrown 0 Posted March 21, 2004 Brand new sebring, shame the carpets all raised up because of it though
20v turbo 0 Posted March 21, 2004 so it looks like most of the early corrado's had fullsize spare wheels then. anyway just found a 15''space saver at local breakers £20 not too bad i dont think 8) cheers for the info :D
CorradoVR6-Turbo 0 Posted March 21, 2004 Mine runs space saver and the boot floor carpet is raised? daft :? going to take it out and run a emergency inflatable can like the new cars have(i.e. no spare) saves weight

chubbybrown 0 Posted March 21, 2004 Somthing like tyreweld, I'm not sure if its the same thing, but they use somthing like that when they install gas conversions as they normally use a 'do-nut' tank installed into the sparewheel well. it sure saves space and is non intrusive, the space savers are normally limited to 50 mph/kmh ? As for £15 notes at the Breakers....well done the gits up here are as bad as the stealers.. chubbz
