chrishill 0 Posted March 29, 2004 i spotted what i 'think' is rust making a bubble on the front lip of my bonnet today, bit of a suprise as it was respraied not long ago and they went round sorting out all the existing rust spots...anyway, whats the best way to deal with it without buggering up my shiny paint? Kevin Bacon 5 Posted March 29, 2004 Take the bubble down to the metal, prime, and then keep building up the layers with a touch-up gradually until it's ready to cut back to the same level as the surrounding paint. You're lucky you have a solid colour and can do this!
