24V Renshaw 0 Posted April 12, 2012 There must be a few more people with knackered mounts to get the numbers for this... Jay
jamiehamy 0 Posted April 12, 2012 I will probably go for this, just need to check if I've still got the bits from the original mount (I'm running the alloy solid mount, but the bolts keep loosening as you can't tighten them properly and compound hasn't worked either). Will let you know by Sunday, Thanks, j

nrc 0 Posted April 13, 2012 About how much higher will my engine sit if replacing existing (likely 20-year-old original) mounts? I'm curious about bonnet clearance with the manifold and perhaps needing to cut more away.
24V Renshaw 0 Posted April 13, 2012 only a few mm at the most. Far less than it will move around anyway if your mounts are tired/standard. Jay
jamiehamy 0 Posted April 15, 2012 All paid. Come on everyone, roll up, I want mine soon! :)

dghodges 0 Posted April 27, 2012 Come on folks my engine is about to jump out through the bonnet! ;) There must still be loads of you who want to upgrade your engine mounts. This way you can do it for silly money. Two poly-mounts for less than the price of a single vw front mount and less than half the price of any other single polyurethane option I've ever seen. This even includes new fixings. Thought people would be jumping at these.
24V Renshaw 0 Posted April 27, 2012 I couldn't have put it better myself :) Jay
24V Renshaw 0 Posted April 28, 2012 Bump. Going to the Trafford meet tomorrow of anyone wants to see what these mounts are like. Jay
rolex 0 Posted April 29, 2012 these would still work with an abf engine? if so, please put me down.
24V Renshaw 0 Posted April 29, 2012 What type of mounts are you using? If they are VR6 ones then absolutely it would. Jay

StueyB 0 Posted May 8, 2012 Almost got another sale for you Jay, twisting a friends arm to get some because he doesn't know what he's missing.
24V Renshaw 0 Posted May 8, 2012 Good man. Come on VR6 owners, you need these in your life. Cheaper than just replacing the mounts with standard ones! Steve (MacDaddy) will tell you they give no more vibration in the car than standard as I doubt he even noticed when he sat in mine last weekend :) Jay
