That Storm looks great when Mike is driving it about. Would probably have been interested in that one if I hadn't already bought mine.

yea same here, it looked in very good condition aswell, dont remember hearing that bit about being a year older, did remember them saying it had done more mileage then what the clocks were showing, how would they work that out?

shows the last 5 years or there abouts.

 

No way of knowing just by checking though, unless its been stuck on their diagnostic and milage has been read that way. Never knew this could be done though tbh.

That Deals On Wheels was 12 years ago, MOT history checks are only since the new system was introduced around 2007 ish.

I thought the diagnostic just shows what's currently on the clocks? Unless they noted excessive wear on something that didn't match up it sounds like bargaining tactics to me...

I reckon it was due to mileage being logged on vw's system when it's been in for servicing etc and then had the clocks possibly changed for some with less mileage on, it wasn't uncommon for vw to change clock in earlier days, i know my 8v has had a clock change by vw in it's first 3 years due to a fault.

 

So Written mileage on the mot certificates may not tally up with vw's computer data base :)

this corrado is only down the road from me, and I have never seen it driving around, the guy selling looks like he is a dealer, so may not know much about the car.
