larceny fink 10 Posted April 16, 2012 Hi all, do all 3 piece - older and late spec - scuttle panels fit all corrado's? Mine missing and wondering if I get any corrado scuttle will it fit no matter what year corrado it's from. I tried my mk2 hard scuttle cover as some have mentioned but it doesn't fit - mine is a VR6 if that helps (corrado not mk2) Many thanks in advance for any replies Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Yandards 0 Posted April 17, 2012 Bit of a terminology confusion here I think. The Corrado lower windscreen trim comes in 3 pieces and has 2 x holes in the drivers side and central piece for the windscreen wiper arm attachment points - these stay the same throughout the production run of the Corrado. Scuttle covers (bit where the wiper motor, ECU and interior fan intake live); Corrados never had a full length scuttle cover (like the mk 2) only a short section cover the interior fan intake (foliage grill) area. You can make a mk 2 item fit with a spot of cutting and by warming the plastic with a hair dryer etc and a wiper motor cover from a 93-97 era Passat finishes the job off. martinb 0 Posted August 13, 2012 a wiper motor cover from a 93-97 era Passat finishes the job off. Anyone got a part number for this?
