wafers 0 Posted June 2, 2012 I like the black metallic VW produced the Corrado in, and have been looking at ages of them. Am I right in assuming that K reg is a non-metallic, and L reg onwards is metallic? Or have I assumed way too much?!
davidwort 0 Posted June 2, 2012 Never assume... black was gloss black and metallic, two different colours, right from the early 16v and g60 cars, there's also black magic, a sort of pearlescent black on later cars.

They did a Black Magic special edition of the Skoda Felicia, it was a fantastic colour.
Riley 0 Posted June 3, 2012 My late bodied G60 is LO41 (Gloss black) and it's a bloody nightmare trying to find a front (late style) bumper in the right colour! I think the LO41 and LA9V were pretty much available through the entire production apart from earlier pre 90/91 cars?
