Andy Brookes 0 Posted April 7, 2004 My mates just bought an electric bin that opens when you get near it.......the door of the bin looks very similar to that nasty spolier on the back of the crossfire. what where they thinking of " Seamlessly integrated into the body" I dont think so!!!!! American engineering car be very crude, best stick to big tractors I think!

dr_mat 0 Posted April 7, 2004 Yuck. Looks a lot like the Nissan 350Z. Which stands for "ugly". Have car designers forgotten how to design rear-ends or WHAT? And what about that "bigger wheels at the back" look? WTF??
Red=Fast 0 Posted April 7, 2004 well, the new betles here in the US have a similar spoiler at the top of the rear window. it is much smaller, but it is the same idea with forming to the body.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted April 7, 2004 Porsche 911s have active spoilers as well. The idea is older than the Corrado I'm sorry to say. K
biggrim 0 Posted April 7, 2004 I always thought Porsche nicked the idea from VW???

munkay 0 Posted April 7, 2004 You know what I mean Roddy ;) The spoiler on that chrysler thing looks like a flap on a plane. Totally poop - would be better if it was a solid unit
jedi-knight83 0 Posted April 7, 2004 i was playing with my mates 911 rear spoiler the other day. the whole mechanism is alot more advanced that the corrados but im sure it all adds to the weight slung over the rear wheels...
Linus Van Pelt 0 Posted April 8, 2004 ...not forgeting that the Porker spoiler is designed to get more airflow into the engine to assist cooling, whereas ours is for reducing rear end lift... ...and the crossfire comes with a trouser press for the executive types... DtM. Kevin Bacon 5 Posted April 8, 2004 i but im sure it all adds to the weight slung over the rear wheels... Which is precisely what the 911 needs
corozin 0 Posted April 8, 2004 I don't suppose anyone has picked up on the fact that the European versions of the Chrysler Crossfire are actually assembled by Karmann at Osnabruck - same as the Corrado. John
