abs light comes on at 70mph???

hi guys my abs light comes on at 70mph as this ever happend to anyone out there ?

You were driving too fast, clearly you're not supposed to exceed 70mph in the UK, so your ABS light was trying to warn you of this.

could be ABS sensor related (since they're mounted on/by/in the wheels somewhere..). might be just one is loose and loses contact with the increased vibrations of the wheel spinning when doing 70 mph :?

ok looks like im striping the abs sensors out this weekend .........

Found this in a friend of mine's C, only it happened when you hit a ton - I obviously did this on private land :D

 

TBH I don't have any faith in the ABS on the C - mine has mechanical faults

(according to VAG-COM) on both sides at the front but the light never comes on (except when it checks the system) and they seem to work OKish...

of corse i would never dream of going over 70mph unless i was on private land ??????????? :D
