Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 30, 2004 Thats a fair point Kev.... I might just mount it on back of seats and makes sure all wiring is hidden.... I ALWAYS use blankets etc to protect my carpets / seats anyway when using corrado to transport dogs (although the majority of the time they go in Pug!) so I could cover the amp off.... That's your answer then dude..... just transport the dogs in the Pug only
pablo_vr6 0 Posted July 30, 2004 lol the dogs will only chew the wires once :D velcro should be grand for the sub too btw :)

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 30, 2004 Good man. Life is made easier putting the amps on the seat because behind the carpet and wood it's metal sheet, so it's not going anywhere
Scott 0 Posted July 30, 2004 Its just made me realise how small the boot is!!! My box wont fit unless I tip it on its back!!! LOL I also have a much smaller box but my mate says the bigger box is tuned for the sub.... the smaller one isnt so doesnt sound as good.... pablo_vr6 0 Posted August 2, 2004 try them both anyway :) let your ears decide which sounds best :)
Scott 0 Posted August 2, 2004 The bigger box sounds MUCH better than the small one.... takes up about 1/3rd of my boot though... :D The difference the sub alone has made is un real.... my pioneer head unit has the facility to adjust the sub from the head unit via digital cross over, etc. So I have set the sounds to send everything below 125hz to the Sub and the rest to the other speakers.... the difference is amazing... you can now hear the speakers in the dash / doors going TSSSSSCCCCHHHHH and the sub dropping and rising bass notes..... LOVE IT!!! Cant wait to stick the focals in now  Only problem I can see when I put the focals in is that I wont be able to use the head unit to adjust the sub levels as it will affect the focals and the sub..... :? I will have to adjust it on the amp I assume.... I have a cross over on the amp on each PAIR of channels..... Which have adjustments that are: HPF FLAT LPF I assume the channels bridged would run LPF? and the Focals would run HPF? :?: Scott

Roboto 0 Posted August 31, 2004 Hey all, Dont know if anyone metioned this before, but on my '93 corrado the negitive wires were all brown w/ some different color stripe. And the positives for the speaker wires were all other colors w/ some strip... ie blue w/ red. Hope this helps with the factory speaker wire set up
Roboto 0 Posted September 1, 2004 On a different note I have infinity 6.1 perfect speakers going in the front, in audioscape door pods(soon as i get em ) . I wanna run a sub and power em both from one amp if possible. Any idea's on a good amp for this? Or should i consider 2 amps, one for the sub and one for the component speakers? Been a while since i put a system together.. so any advise would be helpful :)
Scott 0 Posted September 1, 2004 Just run a four channel amp. Bridge two outputs for sub.... run other two off the components.
