robo22sri 10 Posted April 22, 2013 Does any one on here use parcels to go? What a useless bunch off a holes! I placed an order to collect my splits on Thursday last week via city link and they never turned up! I then got told oh stay home another day for collection or leave them outside! I then complained as I didn't get the service I paid for! I have just been told basically though tits it's still got picked up and delivered! Even though wasted my day sitting in waiting for the courier

robo22sri 10 Posted April 22, 2013 Lol I won't be using them to courier any items that's for sure! I will be getting on that in the evenings! Might have it ready for lift out on Sunday if all goes well
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted April 22, 2013 Parcel2Go aren't the problem. Schitty Stink are. We used to used them at my old job to deliver PCs and Monitors (21" CRTs!) and they used to arrived DOA or we'd catch them chucking them off the lorries. I also had a lawnmower delivered to work via them and the guy made me get it off the truck as he was too lazy. You get to pick who collects your parcels through P2Go, so just make sure you don't choose Schitty Link!

Critical_Mass 10 Posted April 23, 2013 I used P2G when sending some wheels to Kempy, who used DHL to ship them and ultimately ended up losing the wheels. To be fair it was DHLwho lost the wheels not P2G. However P2G didnt make it easy to sort out, didnt keep me up to date, on hold for long periods and didnt make it easy to claim some money back. How can anyone lose 4 seperate wheels. Maybe 1 or 2, but all 4 is unlikely... i smelt fish.
VAG-hag 0 Posted April 23, 2013 ive used p2g loads & always had a good result. i tend to go for my hermes service & drop stuff off at the local shop for collection.....
craigowl 0 Posted April 24, 2013 I gave up on p2g after experience like that. I now use UPS standard via the agent http://www.transglobalpremium.co.uk Good so far. However, the nature of this type of service and the number of bad apples out there doing the job means you can get a rough deal at anytime from anybody IMO. Kevin Bacon 5 Posted April 24, 2013 P2GO have always been great for me. As well as dozens of regular transactions, I sent out 60 sets of 263 cams to you guys through them (via DHL IIRC) and I didn't get a single complaint about non-delivery or damaged packaging :D City Link are just beyond useless. I went to their depot once after getting a 'calling card' and the reception was unmanned. It was also filthy, porno mags on the desk, titty calendars on the walls, empty food packets everywhere, radio going at full blast etc etc. I shouted "hello" several times and then eventually a fat scruffy uninterested zombie of a bloke came out and didn't even acknowledge me. I gave him my card. He dissappeared for 5 mins and then came back, literally dropped my package onto the desk and didn't say a word. I just walked out of there saying "F'ck you too" and swore to never ever use City Link again. And I haven't :D
