Not posted on here for some time a few things have happened since

 

My 17’s pictured before were damaged after hitting a nasty pot hole back in April so I have been running on Speedlines since but now I have received compensation payment from the council

 

I have some 312mm brakes to fit but delivery of my new wheels are delayed so I’ve got these wheels for now but these pics are off my mobile so not the best - i will get better ones once ive polished up...

Haven't been driving it much only put 5k on this year

 

Drive this motor to work - polo gt 1.3gt coupe

picked up for £300, cheap insurance and tax, good mpg, very light and fast 1st 2nd acceleration

here is the 312mm brake setup i sourced for £180

got discs pads calipers and carriers with bolts fixings and hoses...

 

but now i'm not sure if these will fit behind the 17s i have now as the clearance on 280s is only a few mil so i need to know how much 312 carriers stick out over the 280 setup? (did want to avoid spacers)

I've been looking at the ASA rims myself, they look real good. Any better pics of them on the car. How do you rate them?

I've only had them a few days but first impression was good the finish quality is nice on the ones i have with the polished lip - mine are 17x8 with 205 tyres

 

I did read somewhere ASA use BBS as base for their designs

 

I guess over time i will see how they cope through the winter but for just under £400 im very happy with them right now

 

I wasnt totally sure if these would suit my car but im getting used to them, theyre only temporary till i get the 17's i was supposed to have

cheers bro - you already know that i'm still waiting for my actual wheels - so far i have everything except the outer rims now!

Totaly agree, looks really good apart from the lights IMO. I think black rims can only really go on black cars personaly. You should do the black detailing on your headlights :)

the rear lights are important as it is what people see when you hoon past them :D

i think they blend in well so what about this one...

I think the car is absolutely perfect in every way, but the lights just don't match the rest of it. Main thing is you are happy though. :)

i got the inpro's back in 2003 and there wern't many options then

 

i prefer the black and red look what do ya think?
