PaulV 0 Posted December 1, 2013 Hi All My car has had a new front bumper recently fitted following my recent bump. However when I went to the bodyshop on Saturday the replacement seems to have been fitted too low. See what you think.... Could anyone help me out with a comparative picture of a correctly positioned item so I can show them? Thanks, Paul

robrado974 1 Posted December 1, 2013 The gap between the body and the bumper does look a little larger than usual . However I can't see how it can change ? The bumper slides into its guides and is not adjustable .

Could anyone help me out with a comparative picture of a correctly positioned item so I can show them? Thanks, Paul The mount I gave you was damaged, also its mounting bracket on the inner wing is easily distorted. What's the other side like?
sankysvr6 0 Posted December 2, 2013 I had this problem on mine, when I bought it, there is no real adjustment on lifting the bumper. But it is possible to get a better fit, but will take some time. Here is how my turned out. Side view before After Conner view before Conner view after Top view before After
PaulV 0 Posted December 2, 2013 Thanks for all your help and for the photo Sanky! I have forwarded to the bodyshop. Hi Roger - I got another good bracket from Tom. The gap is consistent all round the bumper. Cheers, Paul
vagstuff 13 Posted December 2, 2013 "Thanks for all your help and for the photo Sanky!" ... ... and I'll second that to Sankey for both the most excellent pics [Wow! that shine puts mine to same, a-hem!] & also the very helpful accompanying commentary, as well as to PaulV also for raising it  this Forum's just superbly helpful with such excellent inputs like this, particularly on these otherwise ticklish & testing aspects == Ta x2, as I've got the very same... "Happy Days", and Evenings ! Regards & Thanks to you both, Robert
