Ice White Socks 0 Posted May 22, 2004 Hello, Whilst most people spend sat evening in the pub, I've decided to 'ave it by stripping the front seat down to renew a bolster, fix heated seated seats and stop the seat rocking, I have come on to print off Mr Haywires and Storm2's excellent guides to the above. I have a problem with the seat rocking though in that the guides which I though were missing are actually still on. The right side has a white one, left side a grey one- The thing is the left side has spaces for two grey ones but only one is fitted. Should there be two guides on one side and just the one on the other :?: . I'll be back sometime about 2am when I have sorted the heated seat and bolster so quick answer please   Cheers Mike
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted May 22, 2004 My seats have 1 white plastic guide at each end and there's no rocking. Mine is the 94 non-leathered and non-arse warming variety, so there may be some minor differences. Are yours just a little on the worn side?
STORM 2 0 Posted May 24, 2004 Mike, mines got one grey and one white as well but be careful when getting the seat back in the runner because I found that the plastic guides fall out quite easily and I had to hold mine in whilst I got the seatback on the runner. Also the guide should sit on the most forward part of the seat rail - youll find it sits seemingly snugly on the front and back aspects but on the back one doesnt seem to hold the seat well. youll see when you start messing about with it :D :D
